Install guides and help for Gorse Labs drivers. Stuck? Get in touch and you'll talk to the developers.

Install a driver

The same steps for every Gorse Labs driver. Each driver page lists anything specific to that device.

  1. 1

    Get the driver file

Save the .c4z driver file we send you somewhere you can find it from Composer Pro.

  2. 2

    Add it in Composer Pro

Open the project, go to Driver > Add or Update Driver or Agent, and choose the .c4z file. Then search for it in the Items list and add it to the room.

  3. 3

    Connect and set properties

Fill in the IP address and any other settings in the driver's Properties tab. Bind any connections the driver page lists.

  4. 4

    Check it works

Refresh Navigators and test. The driver runs on its free key until a Pro key is added.

  5. 5

Add a Pro key (when available)

Paste your key into the licence property. The driver unlocks its Pro features on the spot, with no internet needed.

Getting help

Before you ask

Note the driver version (in Properties), the controller's OS version, and what you expected to happen. A Composer driver log helps a lot.

Email or call

Use the contact form, or call during working hours. You'll speak to the people who wrote the driver.

Something missing?

If a driver doesn't do something you need, post it on the requests board so other installers can vote for it.
