About Gorse Labs
Made by installers, in the New Forest
Gorse Labs is the development side of New Forest Technology Services in Lymington. We design and make Control4 drivers, software and small hardware for installers, from the same workshop that fits the systems.
Installers first
We're New Forest Technology Services, a Control4, Loxone and KNX installer on the south coast. We write drivers because we need them on our own jobs.
Tested in real homes
Drivers run on our own systems and our clients' systems before they go on sale. The status on each driver page tells you how far along it is.
Built to last
Our licensing is designed so a client's home keeps working whatever happens to our servers, or to us.
Why the name
Gorse grows all over the New Forest heath. It's tough, it flowers almost all year, and it thrives where other plants struggle. That's what we want our drivers to be. The logo is a gorse stem inside code brackets, with heather thorns and a yellow bloom.
